Ranging from protests and other incidents to the Boat Race taking place in Ely, Cambridgeshire in 2021 in the midst of the Covid-19 pandemic, there is worldwide focus on the event and one day to get it right each year.

Action
Having supported the event since 2016 for our first Boat Race in 2017 Controlled Events tackled the organisational challenges head-on, quickly working out how to support the event in managing different risks, establishing robust communications with 2CL across four boroughs and multiple locations
